How was your week? Have your kiddo's gone back to school yet? We went back last week. Remember when no one went back to school until Labor Day. Some of my grands went back to school last week and others in September.

Books With the Word "Memory" in the Title

I chose Memory because I had memories, pun intended, of books with it in the title. 

Hope you survived the 4th. In our neighborhood it's a war-zone for two to three days on the fourth of July, and New Years. My poor little dog was so scared she hid behind the couch last night when they started. I was afraid that she was going to have a heart attack on Saturday with all the panting and shaking.

Top Ten Tuesday 2025 Goals

 

Happy Tuesday, welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today's topic, which is way smaller than I hoped on the graphic is our 2025 Goals. I try not to set reading goals as I get aggravated if I don't reach the goal; it also makes me feel like I'm reading to just reach the goal. Therefore, I don't enjoy reading. I'm a complete Ennegram 1.

I love debut books and I've already started my first one. It's by Jayna Breigh called The Hunted Heir.

I will read books I didn't read last year. Embers in the London Sky by Sarah Sundin, The Roads We Follow by Nicole Deese, catch up on Gabrielle Meyer's Timeless series.

 I will add biblical history that will be released this year. Before the King by Heather Kaufman, Noble (King David's Brides) by Mesu Andrews. The Pharisees Wife by Janette Oke.

January

I look forward to a new Laura Frantz novel every January.

Heather Kaufman's debut Up From Dust, Martha's story was amazing! I can't wait to read this installment of her series Women of the Way.

February

This looks so good, and the cover is amazing!

I am reading this now and every reader needs to read it! Sarah Monzon has placed so many fun bookish things inside the book is super fun!!

I have loved Sarah Sundin's books since I read her first one. I'm behind, I need to read her last book. I love this cover and can't wait to see what Scottish twist she's put in her story.

I love lighthouses and the cover caught my eye, then the title made me very curious.

March

I really enjoy biblical fiction and this one sounds very interesting.

April

Nicole Deese writes such emotional books and in a good way, and her covers just pull you in.

I love Jamie Jo Wright's books. I'm behind in hers as well. 

May

Jen Turano is both hilarious in person and on the page. She is a must-read!!!!

My Blog is Old Enough To Leave Home

 

As of January 1st, my blog is old enough to leave home, go to college, and vote! When I started this blog in 2007 I was just going to keep track of my reading; I have no idea, but that was my plan. I could've never envisioned what it turned into. Nor that I would still be blogging 18 years later.

Just a few of the debut authors I read and reviewed.

Just a few debut reads, but all of them were fun and introduced me to what Christian fiction is all about. 

I know that my blogging hasn't been as active as I would've liked this year, but I'm really hoping that I'm able to get back to what I enjoy; reading and reviewing.
