I love debut books and I've already started my first one. It's by Jayna Breigh called The Hunted Heir.
I will read books I didn't read last year. Embers in the London Sky by Sarah Sundin, The Roads We Follow by Nicole Deese, catch up on Gabrielle Meyer's Timeless series.
I will add biblical history that will be released this year. Before the King by Heather Kaufman, Noble (King David's Brides) by Mesu Andrews. The Pharisees Wife by Janette Oke.

I don't set a number goal either, for the same reason as you - but listed a few others on my blog, like reading what I already own...
I will be reading The Hunted Heir as well :) I do set goals, but I am goal oriented :) I try not to set goals I know I can't achieve, LOL!

I like setting a numbered goal because I feel like I've really achieved something at the end of the year when I reach or go beyond it. It doesn't bother me when I don't make it though, lol.
I also want to keep reading the Timeless series. I've only read the first book so far, so I have some catching up to do :) Good luck with your goals!
