Top Ten Tuesday Featuring One Word Title Books

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday. Today's topic is one-word titles. Sorry, I missed last week. I fully intended to do it, but time just got away. I hope y'all are having a great summer and staying cool. I'm still recovering from all of the lung illnesses so sadly I've just been inside and haven't seen my grandkids in weeks and I miss them.

I hope you've found a new book or two to add to what I'm sure is a long and growing summer-to-read list.

Have a great Tuesday!!

First Line Friday Featuring Estuary (Oceans of Time #1) by Lisa T. Bergen

Welcome to another edition of First Line Friday. I haven't participated in FLF since April and I'm working on getting back into the swing of things since my hernia repair surgery in April.

I hope you are enjoying warmer temperatures and late nights. Probably the absolute one thing I love about Idaho is how long the sun stays up here. It's 9pm and it looks like it's 5pm . . . when the sun is just beginning to set.

The first book I read of Ms. Bergren's was a children's book God Gave Us Heaven.

The first adult book I read was Breathe, and just looking at the cover I remember how much I enjoyed that book.

Lisa T. Bergren is a favored author. I loved her River of Time series mainly because like her new series Oceans of Time is set in Italy.

About the book:

Can a family bond stand the test of time?

Lady Tiliani Forelli is the epitome of the She-Wolves who raised her, an adept archer with a mind of her own. It is long past time for her to wed, but she deems each young lord who comes to bid for her hand lacking. With battles upon their border, and rumors of war growing louder on every front, Lady Forelli’s decision could secure her kingdom’s peace...or bring about its destruction.

Centuries later, history major Luciana Bettarini takes a summer job alongside her twin, Domenico, as a period actor at Castello Forelli in Italy. As incoming college seniors, this might be their last chance to spend meaningful time together, so she’s soaking up every minute. But when Dom’s theory that their lost Bettarrini relatives have traveled through time becomes potentially real—and they might be able to follow—Luci fears they’ll be forever divided.

First Line

Tiliani Forelli

Summer 1372, Toscana

When he rode around the bend, I drew my bow taut, aiming it at the man's jugular. He was handsome, but not overly so.

Is that not a hook of a line? The best thing, this is book one in her new series and you can grab a copy now because it released on Tuesday.

Is this book on your summer reading radar? If not it should be. Click the cover to order a copy.

It's Friday and that means it's time for first lines. What are your first lines? Grab the book closest to you and leave your first line in the comments.

Have a wonderful Friday and a Fantabulous weekend!

Top Ten Tuesday - Featuring Series I Need to Finish!

Welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday. Today's prompt is a series I'd like to start, catch up on, or finish. One of the drawbacks of being a reviewer is trying to fit the non-blog tour books into your schedule. I also get really distracted so, I forget. This is also why my TBR is forever long!

1. Age of Conquest by Tamara Leigh

2. River of Time by Lisa T. Bergren

3. The Lost Princesses by Jody Hedlund

4. Legacy of Faith by Robin Lee Hatcher
I've read book one . . .  but not the
 rest of the series.

5. The Regency Spies of London by Melanie Dickerson

This is just the tip of the series iceberg I need to finish and or begin.
I didn't get five . . .you can blame my dentist.

Since they are written by various authors that link will take you to the Goodreads page for the series.

Are you planning on doing any binge reading this summer? Are any of my choices books you plan to read this summer? Let me know in the comments your binge reading choices.
