Top Ten Tuesday Featuring Indie / Self-Published Books

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday featuring Indie/Self-Published books. I will probably have more than ten because I just went through my blog folder and grabbed photos of indie books.

This book was made into a movie and was shown on the Friendly App.
Tamara Leigh has several medieval series and they are all amazing!
I first read Kristin Billerbeck when she was traditionally published. I loved the Smitten series.

I'm unsure about this but I believe Amy Matayo has always been indie-published.

This is Suzie Waltner's debut novel. The next one in the series, Red Velvet, and due to release in May.

I just reviewed this book last week and it is so good!
I fell in love with Courtney Walsh's writing when I read A Sweethaven Summer in 2012.
Becky Wade captured me as a reader with My Stubborn Heart in 2012 and I love that she's published indie.
The six authors that wrote this anthology have been published both traditionally and indie.
Beth and I were paired up in a Christmas book swap and then I found her books.
Sarah Monzon is one of my favorite indie authors! Her Sewing in So. California series and just loved them.

Have you read any of these indie authors? Have you found a new author or two to add to your tbr? Let me know in the comments.

Top Ten Tuesday Comical Titles

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday. Today's topic is "funny book titles." I didn't think I could come up with books that fit this topic until I started to look around my shelves.

I don't think these titles are HAHA funny more comical like the romantic comedies they are. I hope you find a new book to add to your to-be-read pile.

The Engagement Plot has been turned into a movie and will air on Uptv on August 21, 2022.

Pack Your Bags For The Long Nights of Summer Reading

Ahhh . . . the relaxation of Summer has started. I love Summer for so many reasons. Warmer weather and long Summer nights! Living here in Idaho we have really long Summer nights.

This is 9:25 pm in Idaho.
I love it but I can't even imagine how difficult it has to be for parents to get little ones to go to bed.

Are you looking for some Summer reading? Today's Top Ten Tuesday is books to read by the pool or at the beach, or Summer TBR.

These are some great books for your Summer  reading.

Debut or New to Me Authors - Favorite Reads of 2017

I tried to expand my reading horizons this year, and read new authors whether debut or ones I haven't read before. Some were great others not so much. I was surprised to have quite a few make my top reads for 2017.

My Reviews:

The Ester Paradigm

The Outlaw's Second Chance

The Engagement Plot

Dragon Seed

Christmas Embers

A Season to Dance

If you've been following my top reads posts this week you've probably already seen these in another list. That's the hard part about choosing a favorite read for the year when you read so many books it's like choosing a favorite child. With that said, for the first time in eleven years of blogging I actually have a favorite read of the year. I will unveil that book on Monday, so keep watching for it. I may actually give out some hints between now and then.

Happy New Year!

My Swoon Worthy Top Reads of 2017

I've decided to switch up the way I do my top reads. Instead of doing just a straight top reads of 2017, I'm going to break it up into fun categories. My first category, Swoon Worthy reads.

Swoon Worthy Definition: To faint, lose consciousness from extreme emotion. In a definite romantic way.

Each of these books evoked swoony romantic emotion. You'll find the link to my review next to the cover photo, or click the cover photo for the review.
