Top Ten Tuesday Honorific Book Titles

Happy Tuesday! I didn't know there was a label for titles like Mr., Husband, Countess, Earl, etc. It was fun looking for books that fit that description. 

I hope y'all are surviving the heat, wherever you are. Here in Idaho, we've had nearly a week of 100-degree weather. I can handle the Florida heat and humidity, but this dry heat just takes my breath away.

Happy Tuesday, and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday. Today's theme is a summer freebie! I absolutely love summer! Now that I live in a state with four seasons, I can't wait for summer to arrive because not only do I hate the cold, but so do my joints, but that's another story. I grew up in coastal states, California, and Florida, and lived in Hawaii with my ex when he was stationed there. So, I'm a true blue beach bum!! If you like the beach, I have some books that will either take you to the beach or a perfect to take to the beach. Either way, I've got you covered!

I have so many authors from Idaho that I need to meet!!! I read Robin Lee Hatcher's A Vote of Confidence in 2009 when it was released. I've met Angela Ruth Strong, and she's a hoot! I think I'm going to need to add author meetings to my bucket list.

All of Pepper Basham's Skymar books could be on this list. I just love Luke! Make sure you read Positively Penelope and Authentically Izzy first or you'll be lost!

Graduating in the 80s made this a favorite romcom collection!

My Thoughts

Angela Ruth Strong writes stories that are powerful and full of redemption and dusted with perfectly timed comedic scenes. I have enjoyed all three books in this series. In this book, I was ready to pummel Charlie for leaving Nicole for a trip.

 

I mean a guy, Charlie, misses the wedding. . . how in the world do you miss your wedding?? Decide to take a trip to the Amazon?

Nicole struggles to forgive him for skipping their first wedding. With Ms. Strong's pen, she places Nicole and Charlie in very uncomfortable situations so they can both see what went wrong in their relationship.

Angela Strong tackles quite a bit in these pages; being afraid to love, redemption, hypocrisy within the church, and making peace with past relationships. That's a mouthful, but if you read this book, and I hope you do; you'll find yourself checking yourself about how you handle these issues and if you express love like Jesus would.

I have read and loved all three of these books in the Love Off Script series. This book can stand alone, but you may want to read the others for all the relationship content
