Pack Your Bags For The Long Nights of Summer Reading

Ahhh . . . the relaxation of Summer has started. I love Summer for so many reasons. Warmer weather and long Summer nights! Living here in Idaho we have really long Summer nights.

This is 9:25 pm in Idaho.
I love it but I can't even imagine how difficult it has to be for parents to get little ones to go to bed.

Are you looking for some Summer reading? Today's Top Ten Tuesday is books to read by the pool or at the beach, or Summer TBR.

These are some great books for your Summer  reading.

The Saturday Night Supper Club by Carla Laureano

The Whys Have It by Amy Matayo

The Engagement Plot by Krista Phillips

Hometown Girl by Courtney Walsh

Unblemished by Sara Ella

Love's Silver Lining by Julie Lessman

The Love Letter by Rachel Hauck

Charming the Troublemaker by Pepper Basham

Just Look Up by Courtney Walsh

Dear Mr. Knightly by Katherine Reay

And then there is some of my Summer TBR

These ten are just the tip of my Summer reading iceberg. It seems just as one book gets finished three more get added.

Top Ten Tuesday - A Vacation with a Book's Eye View

Are you like me and long to take a vacation, but just can't get all the ducks in the same row? You're in for a treat because today I am going to feature books that will take you to different parts of the world without having to buy a plane ticket, get a passport, and learn another language.

This book is perfect since it's Holy week. Visit Galilee through Tosca Lee's book Iscariot.
You can visit the Isle of Skye in Scotland in Carla Laureano's book Five Days in Skye.

You can continue your vacation with the MacDonald family in London Tides, and visit London at the same time.

Leave London and go to Ethiopia and meet the Queen of Sheba in The Legend of Sheba by Tosca Lee.

Fly out of Ethiopia and go to war torn Europe during WWI in The Thorn Bearer by Pepper D. Basham.

Leave war torn Europe for Syria and Israel in Conspiracy of Silence by Ronie Kendig.

How does a tour of Oxford with Narnia infused references sound? Well, if you love Narnia and England you can visit both in Can't Help Falling by Kara Isaac.

Go from Atlanta, Georgia to Italy in A Portrait of Emily Price by Katherine Reay.

See Normandy through the eyes of Sarah Sundin in The Sea Before Us.

Visit Rome, Australia, Greece, and Peru through the eyes of Lindsay Harrel in her book The Heart Between Us.

Learn about the Monument Men in Shadowed by Grace by Cara Putman, and visit Italy.

Go to Austria in Kristy Cambron's debut novel, The Butterfly and the Violin.

I really hope you've found a new book that can take you on a vacation when you aren't able to leave home. Let me know in the comments what books take you on vacation.

Top Ten Tuesday - Books With Olympic Sports

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic sponsored by The Artsy Reader Girl, is books that I decided I no longer want to read. Well, I don't have any of those so, I decided to do books that have a sports theme. Four of the books feature sports that are in the winter Olympics, which I thought would be fun, since the Olympics are on.

Each cover will take you to my blog review or the book's Goodreads page.

Race for the Gold by Dana Mentink is the only book in this list that I haven't read. In my defense it did just release, and I just got it. 😊
Have you read any of these sport's themed books? Do you have any sports themed books to add? I couldn't find a swimming or tennis one.
I'm a definite football fan. With the winter Olympics I enjoy snowboarding, speed skating, bobsled, and of course figure skating.
Add your favorite sports themed books in the comments.
