My Thoughts

Such a beautifully written book! I have no idea where Kassandra Garrison has been hiding but I need to read more of her work.

So much of Olivia's story could be mine. My mother wasn't physically abusive or a drinker but she was verbally abusive. I've always wondered about it given the fact that I'm adopted.

Ms. Garrison had so many layers to this book that were written well and built upon each other making the reader want to see what was going to happen next.

I loved watching the beginning of Oliva and Grey's relationship and how Olivia's relationship with her mother impacted that. Vi, Olivia's grandmother was a great supporting character as were her dad, Ellis, and Grey's parents.

This book was an up-close and personal story about family and family dysfunction and the forgiveness that can be given and received. When I reached the end I wanted more, and I was in tears.

This book is set to release on April 15, 2023

About Kassandra Garrison

Hello!  It’s so nice to meet you!

So, a little about me…

I live with my husband and high school sweetheart, Joseph.  He’s also my personal IT consultant.  Our love and mutual weirdness blessed us with our daughter, Nora, and our soon-to-be-born son!  With two rescue dogs, there’s never a dull moment in our house!

When I’m not chasing a toddler and two sixty-pound dogs, I am writing my next novel, reading a rom-com, or drinking iced coffee.

My writing reveals so much about me:  my obsession with witty banter, raw emotions, and action that makes you flip the pages aggressively fast.

Thank you for your support and, of course, Happy Reading!
