An Overdue Match made my list as well. I am not sure why Sense and Suitability didn't, I think because I was trying not to repeat authors. I am hoping to read more Biblical Fiction this year as well. Have a great week!

Je témoigne ici de la compétence d'un vieil homme vraiment remarquable.
Je vous assure que j'ai contacté plusieurs marabouts qui n'étaient que des imposteurs, des menteurs, des escrocs – je ne sais plus comment les qualifier. Mais après de longues recherches, j'ai rencontré ce vieil homme qui m'a rendu le bonheur, celui que je recherchais depuis tant d'années. Il est vraiment merveilleux. Je souffrais d'une rupture avec mon mari ; il m'a quittée il y a un an et un mois. J'ai même perdu mon emploi. Mon père était gravement malade, mais en trois jours seulement, je vous assure, des miracles se sont produits dans ma vie grâce à ce vieil homme. Aujourd'hui, je vis heureuse avec mon mari, mon père est guéri, j'ai été rappelée au travail – et même si j'ai refusé –, je suis maintenant dans un autre service, bien meilleur que le précédent. Je ne sais vraiment pas comment remercier ce vieil homme. Il s'est occupé de moi gratuitement. J'ai d'abord ressenti une profonde satisfaction avant de le récompenser. Il est vraiment très bon.
