Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. I had to give this a lot of thought before I created a post.
I read and reread The Flowers in the Attic series as a teen. I also read some Stephen King, Cujo, and It. I only remember those two because I read them with my best friend and when we saw the movies she was scared of big dogs and clowns.
As a young married woman, I read Danielle Steel, Jackie Collins, and Nelson Demille. Then friends in our Sunday School Class recommended we read This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. While that book wasn't my favorite I read book two, Piercing the Darkness, a new world of Christian literature was opened and I couldn't get enough. I've read all of Peretti's novels; The Visitation, The Oath, The Monster, House, Prophet, Hangman's Curse, Tilly, and Illusion.
Before starting my blog I was on a website called, Frugal Reader. It was a book trading site. When the site collapsed a friend introduced me to Bonnie Calhoun who ran Christian Fiction Blog Alliance. I became a blogger for her and then I worked for her in operations making sure blog posts had been posted.
Since 2007, I've only read Christian Fiction. While my tastes have varied some I mainly read Christian Fiction. Rom-com, Biblical Fiction, and Dual Time are some of my favorite genres. The way I read has changed too. I had an early e-reader before Amazon created the Kindle. Now, I read mostly on my Kindle, and even though I love an actual book it hurts my hand to hold. As my dad would say "Getting old ain't for sissies!" And he's right.
How have your reading habits changed over the years?

I read all the same things as a teen. I think that’s where the similarities ended. Although I do read a lot of Christian romances now. It’s an easy way to make sure that everything is closed-door.
