My Thoughts

The O'Connors are my favorite fictional family and I'm a huge Julie Lessman fan. I deemed her the kissing queen and she never disappoints. But her books are more than just knee-popping kisses they're about Jesus.

I love that Julie Lessman continues to write stories about the O'Connors. Each time I start a new book I feel like I've come home.

Hope Dennehy is your picture-perfect nurse. She is compassionate, caring, and rule-following...which as a military nurse is very important. Enter Bren O'Neill who is your typical bad boy and who is in love with her cousin, Gabe; and soon has eyes for Hope.

Get ready to laugh, cry, swoon, and want to throw the book across the room because of certain character's actions.

Overall, be prepared to have Jesus touch your heart through the story because He will. This is Ms. Lessman's signature. She creates passion and puts it in the right place which has made her a favored author by so many.

I've read everything Julie published through Isle of Hope, then I'm a bit behind (except for A Light in the Window) after that ... I need to make an inventory of which books I'm missing and in what format (ebook vs print).
