I'm not a Christmas book reader per-se. I have been known to avoid them like the plague, mainly because they're like an overdose of Hallmark movies. I can take them in small doses.
I found this book back when my girls were just little and read it every Christmas. It was my first biblical fiction book and really set the tone for Christmas.

It was! I gave it to my folks to read since they have a motor home.
