Top Ten Tuesday Historical Romance Favorite Genre

Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday for June. Today is our 8th wedding anniversary so it seems pretty fitting that favorite book genre is Historical Romance. I wasn't sure until I looked back through my books and realized that I read more Historical Romance than any other genre.

I'm a creature of habit when I do these lists so I thought I'd reach back into the archives and give some attention to books I haven't yet mentioned.

This book came out in 2009 and I felt like I had literally stepped back in time.

Looking for a summer read that will make you laugh? The entire Lake Manawa Summers by Lorna Seilstad is laugh out loud funny!
I'm a huge and I mean HUGE fan of Anne Boleyn and her story. Sandra Byrd does a great job bringing her and this time period to life!

A wagon train, marriage of convenience, and lots of fun romantic tension.

It seemed like a lot, and I mean a lot of marriage of convenience books were published around the same time. I got bored real quickly but Karen Witemeyer is one that didn't bore me she made me laugh!

A pig, an arrest, and loads of snarky hilarious banter is what you get when you read this book. Reader BEWARE: Do Not Read in bed while your husband is sleeping or you will wake him up! 😂😂😂
Not your usual regency romance. I enjoyed the dancing aspect which was different for me.

If you love seeing women do jobs that were frowned upon during the Civil War you will enjoy this one. It is also set around the Belmont Mansion.

I hope you've found a book you weren't familiar with before today. All of these books would be perfect for your beach bag this summer! Enjoy!!!
