About the Author
Becky’s a California native who attended Baylor University, met and married a Texan, and settled in Dallas. She published historical romances for the general market before putting her career on hold for several years to care for her three children. When God called her back to writing, Becky knew He meant for her to turn her attention to Christian fiction. She loves writing funny, modern, and inspirational contemporary romance! She’s the Christy Award and Carol Award winning author of My Stubborn Heart, the Porter Family series, and the Bradford Sisters Romance series.
My Thoughts:
Becky Wade continues to astound me with her writing talent. I have always been a fan of her family based romance novels, and look forward in anticipation to each release. Falling for You is right up there with Undeniably Yours as one of my favorites.
Ms. Wade stepped out in faith when she started her Bradford Sisters Series adding suspense to her already artistically crafted romance. The suspense is more of a mystery. It reminded me of Agatha Christie, nothing dark, just enough mystery to keep you guessing.
Charlotte, Corbin's niece who asks for help in solving the mystery is sassy, and snarky. She's also somewhat of a matchmaker, and adds a ton of fun to the cast of characters.
We are reunited with family members from book one, True To You, as well as some crazy fans, which keeps the book lively and very entertaining.
My Bottom Line:
Ms. Wade has created her own niche` in romantic suspense, and I am a huge fan! Even with the romance and mystery thread, the faith thread is not missing. It is woven beautifully and gives hope and encouragement to the reader.
Ms. Wade's mysterious thread is so good I wasn't exactly sure until later on which romance I was reading about, and I loved that!
Highly recommended!
