About the book:

I just finished "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, which I really enjoyed. The book opens with this line, "I know I'm not an ordinary ten-year-old kid."

Sounds like there will be plenty of intrigue in that read! Which reminds me of the book I'll be reviewing this Monday on my blog, The Patriot & The Loyalist by Angela K. Couch, so I'll share the first line from that book:

I love reading about the Gilded Age. Seeing 5th Avenue at the time, all those mansions, wow.
I am currently reading this and you will enjoy it. Ms. Turano does a great job creating a visual world with her words.
