About the book:

My Thoughts:

Upon opening the book and I read the first sentence. . . "I had no warning before evil befell me", I knew I was in for a good read, and Sandra did not disappoint.  Her writing is lyrical and visual, I was pulled right into the story and felt like I was apart of the story not merely reading one. I love historical England and this book  did not disappoint. I cared for Annabel immediately, which for me is a big deal, because if I can't connect with a character I don't enjoy the book. 
I highly recommend this book!
