This was a real different book for me. I have since grown out of fairy tale type books and yet this was way beyond that kind of book. It was very real and emotional. I enjoyed it on a different level. I didn't find it depressing like I thought I would, I found it rather enlightening and thought that it really opened up a new way of thinking about how we really care for each other. I highly recommend this book.

I haven't read it yet, but it is on my list. Did you think it was like water for chocolate?
It's been a long time since I've read Like Water For Chocolate so I'll have to refresh my memory before I answer that. It was a good book though. I'll be curious to hear your take once you've read it.
