When I read the back cover and saw different comments from different authors about this book needing to be read with “all the lights on” Amy Wallace, and “sleep with the lights on” Austin Boyd. I thought to myself, what have I gotten myself into. I’m a huge Peretti fan, and read the Oath during a lightning storm, and didn’t flinch. I have to say, that Mike Dellosso has a way to keep you up at night. This book has everything. I don’t know necessarily what Mike’s goal was in telling this story. What I will tell you is that it touched me in many ways. We all know that secrets can be damaging, and hurtful; Mike puts an entirely different spin on secrets. I don’t want to give away too much of the plot for those who haven’t read it. I was surprised that I was crying during a point in the book. We’re only one month into summer and if you’re looking for a book to take on your vacation. Pick up a copy of The Hunted. I guarantee you won’t be sorry. You’ll be blessed!
