My Thoughts:
Biblical fiction is another one of my favorite genre's. I've read most of Diana's books, I found Mary, Chosen of God on Goodreads, a friend was reading it and I thought it was a perfect read for Christmas and I was right! Diana takes you right into the heart of Mary, the words from Luke 2:19, Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart, become alive and real. I've always been amazed at Mary's faith in God as she walked through her pregnancy of Jesus, raising him, watching him begin his ministry and then seeing her child die a criminal's death. In this book we not only watch Mary as Jesus grows, we see how his siblings handle having him as their brother, and the struggle with unbelief.
I loved this book and it will become a book I will read at Christmas each year. Highly recommended!
