The Bachelor - Finale, Finale

I know that the finale of The Bachelor this season has been cussed and discussed since Monday night and more so since last night.

I am still pretty floored that ABC would air what Arie did to Becca on national TV, and I am even more bothered by the fact that I watched it. I could not turn away. I kept hoping after he broke up with her and broke her heart that he'd respect her wishes and just leave. I couldn't believe he followed her, kept asking if she needed anything or wanted to talk. I actually started looking for my bad call brick that I use during football season to throw at the TV.

I honestly thought that while Arie was a slime ball and a playboy with the girls, I hoped he'd have more maturity, and life skills at 36 than he showed during the finale. If he was so conflicted between Becca and Lauren why didn't he just not propose to either, and why would you tell one or both girls that you loved them? Didn't anyone not pay attention to Ben Higgins when he told both Jojo and Lauren that he loved them? Can we just say nightmare?! And what it is with the name Lauren?

Arie's comments "I feel like a monster," "I hate this for her." Really?! He should feel like a monster.

I loved what baby Bekah said (thanks Audra for the term.), "he's not a genuine person, and he just needs to say whatever he needs to say in front of the person to get what he wants. I think he's an incredibly manipulative person." Caroline, which I know we're all trying to remember her, said "he has zero empathy for her and doesn't take her feelings into account."

Chris Harrison's comment about Arie making a bone-headed error when he got down on one knee and proposed to Becca is more than bone-headed. It is down right horrible and ridiculous!

Ladies, think back to the day your spouse proposed. Mark took me completely by surprise on New Year's Eve 2010, which is what is supposed to happen. I couldn't one figure out why he was reaching in his suit coat pocket and why he got on one knee. He said something similar to me that Arie said to Becca. "I want you to know that I am not just making this choice for you today, I will make this choice everyday. I want you to know you can count on that. I started crying and he asked me to marry him, I could barely say yes because I was crying.
You've now been proposed to, you said yes and you are living on perpetual cloud nine. You are dreaming about your dress, your dad walking you down the aisle, where you'll go for your honeymoon, who will stand up beside you, the whole enchilada. And then he decides he's made the biggest mistake and he's in love with his ex-girlfriend, and has decided he wants her back. He breaks up with you, you sadly give back the ring, and you are devastated. I couldn't imagine how painful that would be. Coming from the marriage I came from Mark knew that I needed to know that I would be his choice every single day.

ABC, how dare you! I mean what were you thinking?! Like Caroline said "Becca has a huge heart and wants everyone around her happy."
Producers had to know he wanted to break up with her so why didn't any of you suggest for him to do it off camera, and tell him once he broke up with her to walk away! Or stop filming until he left! I feel as though the break up segment wouldn't have gone on for as long as it did if he would've just left.
I've watched The Bachelor since season one, and while I enjoy the show, I really hope that you as a network never film a proposal break up again!

I honestly think this all boils down to what the girl's told Chris Harrison. Before he ended things with Becca he "had" to call Lauren to make sure they still had a chance. He clearly is a manipulator, doesn't think or care about anyone's feelings but his own. It's not that I don't want both, Arie and Lauren to be happy, I love this show because I believe in love and fairy tales. I just think there was a better way to handle all of this without showing her pain live in real time.

AND CONGRATULATIONS, BECCA ON BEING THE NEXT BACHELORETTE!!! The absolute best choice!!

The Bachelor - Ben returns

Well another season of ABC'S The Bachelor has returned and with it is Ben Flajnik, he took a gamble on last season's The Bachelorette and proposed to Ashley and was turned down. This time he's in the driver's seat. Tonight 25 women arrived, one with her Gramma. Yes! Brittany brought her Gramma with her, because she knew Ben was a family man and she wanted him to meet her Grandmother. Boy, did that get all the girls talking. If that wasn't enough one entered in on a horse . . . Lindzi. We had drama, set off by Jenna who asked Monica if she was in "to" Ben, that didn't go over well with Monica and then she went and snuggled on the couch with another one of the girls. Wasn't good. Jenna ended up in the bathroom bawling just before the rose ceremony and surprisingly Ben kept her. WEIRD! After being in the bathroom for 15 minutes at least she looked like she just got out of bed. It's going to be another season of high energy drama!

The Bachelor On The Wings Of Love Wk 7

still wounded
in love with Ali and wont admit it!
immature

The perfect girl for Jake!!!!!

I really am at a loss for tonight. The 3 remaining women are in the Cayman Islands with Jake. If you've watched the bachelor before when it gets to this point you know that there will be the fantasy" suite card from Chris etc etc . . . what I find funny is that none of the girls should be surprised yet they all act surprised, esp. since they all have watched the show before - so they say. :-)

Gia and Jake have the first date just having fun on the beach, swimming in the water. They also went into the city enjoying the culture and Jake bought Gia a very pretty necklace. I think the most romantic part was them swinging in the hammock while the waves came in underneath them. At dinner the fantasy suite card came out and they did choose to spend the night together.
Tenley and Jake - I didn't really pay much attention to their date. . . I am so over hearing about her ex husband! What I did notice was at dinner when the fantasy suite card was presented she told him that she has never spent a night alone with any other man besides her ex husband; he was honored by that. He knew that she trusted him and felt safe with him.

Just before Jake is to go out with Vienna his phone rings . . . from the previews we all know it is Ali . . . she is a mess and she realizes that she made the worst mistake ever by leaving. When he answers you can just see in his face that he missed her. It is taking everything he can by not saying to her to get on a plane and get here! He chooses not to say that to her, and he also tells her that while he will always care about her he has fallen more in love with the 3 women he has left. By just looking at him you can see it is a lie. He ends the phone call, looks out the window and you could just see that what he said was not how he felt.

Vienna and Jake - This was just utterly painful to watch. They go to an old pirate ship and she puts a black eye patch over his eye. She's being completely "childish"; she tells him he has to talk with it on. They practically make out all over the ship, and what made me sick was hearing On The Wings Of Love being played. It was like all the rumors about him choosing Vienna are true and the show isn't even over yet. They go to dinner, and at dinner Jake asks her about what kind of ring she likes, and then it goes into even the type of metal. I was like SERIOUSLY!!!!! They of course choose to stay in the fantasy suite, and of course Vienna was nothing short of a hoochie! Coming out in lingerie! This wasn't honeymoon suite this was a fantasy suite . . . yet for Vienna she has something to WIN - to make sure Gia, and Tenley do not get Jake. It's not like she cares about Jake or really wants to be married. She just wants to make sure no one else gets him. She got rid of Ali, and Gia tonight.

Here is what I predict will happen if the rumor is true that he chooses Vienna in the end. They will not WORK. I do not care how you SLICE, DICE, OR CUT it . . . they will not make it. He will wise up and dump the immature lil girl and go and get Ali. He will see that Tenley is not ready for a relationship because she is not over her ex, and has not healed . . . and he will see that Vienna was after one thing and one thing only and that is . . . WINNING - it was never in her plan to be Jake's wife. I say this because Jake is a hottie, and she is someone who when he's on a flight that has him gone for 2-3 days - she will be wondering . . . is he with a flight attendant . . . or a passenger . . . she has already shown that she has insecurity issues.
I am really disappointed with this season. I really thought that with Jake after what happened with Jillian he would have made smarter choices. He saw what a player Wes was and to not believe that a female could be the same way is just stupid on his part.

THE BACHELOR - WK 5 ON THE WINGS OF LOVE

Ok, Jake has seriously LOST IT! He has heard all the talk in the house about lil whiney baby Vienna and then he plans a double date with Gia and Vienna. Vienna thinks he's her man and got all bent out of whack when Jake takes Gia off for a one on one. She even has the nerve to take a bottle of wine and some glasses and go into Jake's room and cozy up to him later that night because they were staying the night there. At least Jake had the "decency" to tell her that it wasn't a good idea, or fair to Gia or the other girls for her to be there. EGADS! This girl is seriously T R O U B L E! With a capital T!

I am starting to like Tenley. I still don't think she is ready for a serious relationship yet, however I'm not sure that Jake is either. From watching them on their one on one I can see the potential for a great relationship. I could see them discovering love together. Which would be great to see since they have both been hurt.

Ali is my number one fave! She seems to light Jake's face up immediately, and they have so much fun together. I like that she is completely 100% honest with him. Not afraid to tell it like it is. I liked how Jake pointedly asked her about Vienna and she answered him. She doesn't like Vienna and she doesn't hide it. Yet she told him that whatever his choice is that is fine with her.

It was sad to see him let Corrie go. It obviously made him sad. On they're one on one he felt as if he had made a break through and knew he needed to make a decision because of the home town dates coming up. However it was quite clear that letting Corrie go was not easy on him. Which leads me to wonder why is trouble maker VIENNA still there. It is quite clear she is not there for him. She is there to WIN something not to have a relationship and get married. I mean seriously! When she talked about marriage she talked about it being a 16 yr old boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. HELLO!!!! Earth to Vienna! That is not what marriage is lil girl! It is work! Lots of hard work! Ask those of us who put lots of time and energy into it and are divorced due to no failure on our part.

Looking ahead to the home town dates; it doesn't look like things go well. I see more heartache for our bachelor.

Stay tuned for more On The Wings Of Love . . . . .

WEEK # 3 THE BACHELOR ON THE WINGS OF LOVE

Oh Boy . . . This just keeps getting better and better . . . or can we say worse and worse. Jake has his hands full. At least last night he did. He finally got rid of psycho Michelle and tease Elizabeth.

Hopefully what Corey did at the comedy club about Vienna will stick with Jake and he will begin to investigate her more. I just couldn't believe that she came home from the one on one and began talking about her private moments with Jake. To me that was just completely disgusting.

And MZ I need you, I need you, Oh Baby, Oh Baby! Give me a break! She's like a little lost puppy dog that was so needy it was giving me claustrophobia! I am so glad he gave her the boot!

Then Mz Kiss me, No don't Kiss me . . . playing the tease game was strange too. I mean seriously . . . where do these girls come from?

Tenley prooved once again that she has no business being on the show or trying to get involved in any relationship. When she was telling Jake about her divorce and broke down that is a clear cut sign that she's still in pain. Her attempt at needing or desiring to be in a relationship with Jake is just her way to mask the pain she's in; because if she's in another relationship she'll be better and it will be better than the last one.

I'm not sure what I think of Ella. I mean . . . I get the feeling she's looking for a "father" for her son not a relationship, and since her son has a "dream" of flying and Jake is a pilot "bingo" here is Daddy #2. Can we say WRONG!

My favorites are Ali, Cory, and Jesse. They stay in the background, don't cause any drama, and are real. I really think Ali has the best potential to be the best match for him by far.

Week # 2 THE BACHELOR - ON THE WINGS OF <3

All I can say about week 2 of ON THE WINGS OF LOVE with Jake is that this boy needs a real WOMAN to help him weed through the shark infested waters of these girls. 99.9% of these girls are pure DRAMA, and I should know I raised 3, and I had one who had drama follow her like a cloud, and still does. She reminds me of pig-pen from Peanuts . . . instead of dirt it was DRAMA! And I say girls because they act like h.s. girls chasing the captain of the football team. So far there is only one girl that has even the remotest possibility to go all the way and that is Ali. She is the only one that is being herself, not undermining the other girls, as well as being honest with Jake. I couldn't believe that one of the girls ROZLYN had the nerve to get into a relationship with one of the staffers on the show. I mean there is speculation that she didn't she may have just "flirted" with the said staffer, either way she said and she looked into Jake's eyes and said she was there for him, so why would she "flirt" with anyone if she was truly there for Jake. It just truly disgusted me.

I don't know what is going to happen from here. One thing is for sure Jake needs to get rid of Vienna, Tenley, and Elizabeth so he can get down to business and get to know those that are true and genuine. Not the DRAMA clad ones who have no intention of going all the way to the finish. I mean seriously . . . Elizabeth's note was a JOKE. Don't kiss me unless your willing to say I-Do was such a pitiful excuse to try and get close to him. I mean seriously . . . be real or go home!
