Top Ten Tuesday -- Favorite Quotes

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly link-up sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today's theme is favorite quotes from books, about books, about being a reader . . . etc.

I have some saved images for this, which is really good since my brain decided to go off kilter without asking permission.

I hope you found some inspirational quotes as well as fun ones. If you haven't read the books, I suggest you give them a try.

My absolute favorite one about reading! ↓↓

Top Ten Tuesday - Halloween Freebie

Happy Tuesday, and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today's theme is a Halloween Freebie. I almost didn't do this topic because I have done it several times and used the same books. This time I decided to mix it up a bit, using books from childhood. Stories that were read to me in school, and books I read to my girls and with them, along with books that are perfect to read at this time.

In case you haven't seen the absolutely beautiful dog my sweet husband found for me, here are some pictures. She has the most amazing eyes, so I named her Sapphire Blue.

My house feels alive again. It's weird how animals, like children, bring life to the house.

Books I Wish Were Around When I Was a Teen

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post. Today's topic is books for my younger self. Well, since I was quite a reader as a kid and teen I thought I'd do a list of books I wish were around when I was a teen/young adult.

The Hagenheim Series by Melanie Dickerson

A Court of Thorn and Roses Series by Sarah J. Mass

The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

The Gifting Series by Katie Ganshert

The Ravenspire Series by C.J. Redwine

The Weaver Trilogy by Lindsay Franklin

The Sunrise at Normandy Series by Sarah Sundin

A Class of Their Own Series by Jen Turano

The Veritas Project by Frank Peretti

Treasures of His Love Series by Mesu Andrews

I am so thankful that there are such great books out there for our teens and young adults to read. I read a lot of missionary books - UGH - as a kid and teen. I would've loved to have more variety.

What do you wish were around when you were a kid? Let me know in the comments!

Top Ten Tuesday - Book Titles With Numbers

Happy Tuesday! Today's edition of Top Ten Tuesday has to do with numbers, well sort of. I'm not a number's fan, personally. And when you add number's and letter's together like in that awful class called Algebra, you've lost me. Anyone else?

I originally thought this would be a hard topic but I actually found more books than I thought I'd find and it wasn't as hard as I thought.

CONGRATULATIONS, COURTNEY WALSH ON YOUR CAROL AWARD!!!!

Now, it's your turn . . . Have you read any of these books? Are you reading a book with a number in the title? Tell me your book titles with number's in the comments.

Top Ten Tuesday; Books That Changed My Mind

Happy Tuesday and welcome to Top Ten Tuesday sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today's topic is books out of my comfort zone that I enjoyed. My reading tastes are very eclectic and that's impart because I've tried books out of my comfort zone and I like them. And we all know that that means our to be read pile increases by leaps and bounds.

Fantasy and Sci-Fi are the two big genres, especially within Christian fiction has become some of my most favorite books to read.

I'm also not a huge fan of Christmas books, in general. For me they've always seemed like a Hallmark greeting card, too perfect. Chautona Havig's Christmas Embers gave me a story that had the feel good of Christmas with loads of real life.

Now, it's your turn. . . What books changed your mind? Let me know in the comments . . .
