My Thoughts:
What a touching story! I started this book in the evening thinking I'd read a few chapters and put it down and I couldn't. I had to finish it! This is the Blindside meets Rachel Ray. 
What I was surprised by was Maurice's manners. Here is a kid on the street panhandling and he calls Laura, Miss Laura, says please and thank you.  Just not something you would expect from a street kid.
I highly recommend this book! It will inspire you!
