I read this book for a book ring on Frugal Reader. I loved Ms. Sebold's book The Lovely Bones. However this book was all over the place, and plain out and out AWFUL! It made no sense. It starts out with a selfish daughter who comes in and her mother who suffers with Dementia has soiled herself and she freaks out and kills her, and it goes down hill from there. This rates a 2 out of 5 so not a good read for the New Year.
