I always take a second look for Biblical buzzwords, too.

A great list. I forgot about books with food. I love those too!
Have a great week!

Quirky should have been on my list too, as long as it doesn’t veer into absurd or farcical.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
If a book mentions food or books I'm bound to at least read the synopsis. LOL!

Have a good week and have a good day. Here is my TTT. https://dmhoisington.wordpress.com/2026/03/31/top-ten-tuesday-25-buzzwords-or-phrases-that-make-me-want-to-read-or-avoid-a-book/
Hi, Anne! Biblical stories are some of my favorites.
Hi, Emily. I did too, and then Betsy’s cover stood out to me and thought food was needed.
Hi! That book is so stinkin fun!
Hi, Pam. I’m right there with you!
Thanks, Danyelle! You as well.
Ooooh, yes, I agree with you on most of these, especially "secrets," "Gilded Age," and "closed-door." Even though I'm a religious person and I love historical fiction, for some reason, I avoid Biblical fiction. I'm not sure why. It just doesn't hit the spot for me. Different strokes for different folks...
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Yes! I love quirky books.
