Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday sponsored by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme this week is books you wish you could read for the first time. I've done that topic at least twice, maybe three times, so I asked my friend, Carrie of Reading is My SuperPower for help in putting a spin on this topic. First reads that made an author a favorite is one that Carrie suggested, and I really liked it, so I decided to use it.
Spinning this theme brought back some great memories of not only reading these books, but when I started my blog eighteen years ago. Blogging has changed a bit in those eighteen years, and I'd like to think for the better.

Oh that's a good spin on the topic. I don't think I've read any of the books on your list.

That's a fantastic theme for Top Ten Tuesday! It's so much fun when one book instantly converts you into a lifelong fan of an author.
I love the variety of first reads you've included here. It's a great reminder of all the brilliant books that kicked off a journey of reading an author's entire back catalogue! Thanks for sharing this lovely list! Here's the link to my list this week https://mybookishworld.weebly.com/blog/top-ten-tuesday-10-books-i-wish-i-could-read-again-for-the-first-time
I love this spin on the topic. Now you’ve got me thinking.

I haven't read any of these books or authors, but I do like your twist on the theme.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I still have not read a Ronie Kendig book, I really need to! Great topic and list!
Thanks! I kept thinking about how to spin it and I just couldn’t.
Teresa most of these books I read and reviewed as debuts, so it’s been fun following them all these years.
Thanks! Hope you have fun discovering how authors became your favorite.
I’m surprised you haven’t. It’s a fantastic book.
Thanks, Aymee! Most of these authors have been in my books I wish I could read for the first time post.
WHAT!!! Dead Reckoning is a great book to start with. Thanks, Cindy!
I love your take on this week's theme. I'm not sure I could list 10 authors that I would consider auto-read.

ANDI!! It makes me SO very happy to be on your list, that something I wrote could help steer you into something you love. God is amazing how He directs our lives, and I can never thank Him enough for allowing our paths to cross. HUGS!!
