Deadly Pursuit ~ Reviewed

Book Description:

As a social worker, Alison Taylor has a passion for protecting children and seeing that justice is served on their behalf. But when she starts getting harassing phone calls and bizarre "gifts," it seems she may be the one in need of protection. When her tormentor's attentions take a violent turn, her brother Cole comes to her aid, along with his new partner, Detective Mitch Morgan. As her relentless stalker turns up the heat, Mitch takes a personal interest in the case. Protecting Alison has become more than just a job--because his own happiness now depends on keeping her safe.
Chock full of nail-biting suspense and heart-melting romance, Deadly Pursuit is Irene Hannon's storytelling at its very best. Fans old and new will not want to miss the next story in this series starring siblings fighting for justice.

My Thoughts: I had a really hard time getting into this one. I really enjoyed the first one in the series, for some reason I just couldn't get into this one. Please don't let that keep you from this book. If you enjoy suspense with romance then grab a copy of this book!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I am sorry that you have a tremendous amount of hurt towards the singer Amy Grant. I am not familiar with her situation from the past but we all must realize that, that was over 10yrs ago and we are all sinners on this earth. She is no exception. As a Christian we should all be setting examples on the ways to forgiveness. We all fall short of the glory of God and it's not our place here on earth to judge others sins. Only God has that power. I wish you well.

Hi Lynn,

I sang a lot of Amy Grant's songs in church and had album after album of hers. I saw the progression of her from contemporary Christian to pop and back. Unlike Michael W. Smith who took his music into the pop world on a Christian label, Amy did not. When she was interviewed on Christian Today magazine about her divorce from Gary Chapman, and affair with Vince she had the perfect opportunity to apologize to her fans and she did not. My issue is she is in the public eye and said nothing! I was cheated on, and I have no respect for someone who brushes it off like crumbs from the table. She did wrong and she knows it and it's like she could care less, at least that is what she portrays to her fans. I am not judging her, I am discerning from her actions.
Thanks for the comment.
Have a great day!
Andi
