Finding Margo by Jen Turner Turano

About the book:

International pop star Margo Hartman could use a night off. A grueling tour and overbearing entourage have sent her over the edge. It’s time for this diva to disappear. And who would think to look for the superstar in a small Dutch town in Ohio?

Sheriff’s deputy Brock Moore is undercover as well. He knows Margo isn’t who she appears to be, but her uncanny resemblance to a local Amish woman is raising all sorts of questions…the kind that make her a target for a killer.

Both are determined to find answers, but their mutual attraction stands in the way of either of them doing it alone. Is finding Margo the solution to Brock’s problems or just the beginning…?

About Jen:

She pursued a career in management for nine years before switching to full-time motherhood after the birth of her son. When she's not writing, Jen can be found watching her teenage son participate in various activities, taking long walks with her husband and dog, socializing with friends, or delving into a good book. My Thoughts:

I stopped reading Amish fiction quite awhile ago because they all seemed to be the same story with different characters. However, Jen has created an Amish story that has the Amish features but that's about all that it has in common with Amish fiction. This is Jen's first foray into Contemporary fiction and she's going to take the world by storm as she has in historical fiction. I adore Jen's books for her quirky characters and humor. This book has all of that in spades. I absolutely fell in love with Gabby the duck and how this duck helped change Margo's thoughts about animals.
This book is about finding the truth and accepting who you are. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series, which can't come out fast enough.

Add this to your must get for the holidays!
