ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
She loves to write, but it doesn't make her happy unless there are the three B's...body count, blood, and blowing things up. She also has mad skills at coding HTML, and website design. And she lives in a log cabin in the woods with fifteen acres and a pond full of bass, though she'd rather buy fish at the grocery store. Bonnie shares her domain with a husband, a dog, and two cats, all of whom think she’s waitstaff!

I read the prequel to Thunder, Tremors over the summer and it was awesome! Here is my review of that book.
This is a novella leading up to Bonnie's new Dystopian release Thunder(Stone Braid Chronicles Book 1)
Selah is getting ready to turn 18, and her father is determined to marry her off to Jericho Kingston.
She has dreams, which are rather like nightmares, yet they only happen when she sleeps on the beach.
The question, why does her father want her to marry Jericho? Why is this union so important and why is she unable to hunt with her brothers.
This is a short 48 page novella. I loved every page and can't wait to read Thunder.
My thoughts on Thunder
I haven't read a lot of Dystopian, I read the prequel to this book Tremors and read it in one sitting. The book opens with Selah crouching in tall grass hunting game, she is really looking for the Landers who are from across the river. Her eighteenth birthday is coming up and her step-father has given her in marriage to a man in a neighboring village. Selah doesn't want to get married she wants to hunt with her step-father and brothers, but she isn't allowed.
Bonnie has created a very vivid post-apocalyptic America. I was pulled into the story from the first page. Her three B's...body count, blood, and blowing things up have made their way into this book. Selah's step-father drove me nuts. The characters are real in every way.
Home Run, Bonnie!
I highly recommend this book!!!
