My Thoughts: Sarai is a pain in the rump that is for sure. She's beautiful there is no doubt Abram would want her. Jill brings the world of Canaan, Egypt, together so vividly you can hear the animals, smell the herbs, and feel the frustration that both Abram and Sarai are going through. It does lead me to wonder that if Sarai had not taken things in her own hands would God have blessed them sooner with Isaac. With that said, how many times do we take things in our own hands because we don't think He's working fast enough.
Jill has once again written a home run hit! I can't highly recommend this book enough! It will be on my top for the year!

Sounds like a good book. It's kinda hard for me to read about ancient Egypt, though, in novel form because things were so drastically different back then.
