BSU VS VT HOKIES GAME RE-CAP

I am NOT a BSU BRONCO fan! I think this team is highly over-rated! And their quarter back Kellen Moore is too cocky for my liking. He was just a sophomore last year and he would walk on the field like he owned the world, being in the WAC conference where you don't play the big schools doesn't give you bragging rights. So the PAC 10 Commissioner being the idiot he is decides to realign the conferences and puts BSU in the Mountain West Conference. Like they're big enough and bad enough to play with the BIG BOYS! Since he did this so late there wasn't enough time to add BSU to the entire Mountain West Conference schedule, but he did add VT Hokies as BSU's first game of the season and that was played last night in prime time. Here is my take on the game. First off The Hokies home field is in Blacksburg, VA not the FEDEX field in D.C. - I guess BSU is going to expect all their opponents to cater to them as they move into the Mountain West Conference in 2011. SORREE!!!! It doesn't work that way! If you want to play with the big boys you play on their turf! Not everyone is going to come to the SMURF TURF to play!
As for last nights game BSU got lucky! They had 2 TURNOVERS, 11 penalties for 105 yards, No 4th down conversions, 6-15 3rd down conversions. If they think they can play like this on a regular basis against the bigger teams and WIN it's just not going to happen! Teams like BYU, Air Force, Colorado State, SDSU, New Mexico, UNLV, Utah, and Wyoming are just ready to take BSU down off their high horse and prove that they don't belong in the Mountain West Conference. I have to agree, I don't think they belong, especially with some of the nastiness I saw last night, the personal fouls coming from as their coach Chris Peterson calls "such good young men" I didn't see any of that last night. I saw a lot of after the play hits, and in your face words. I know there was a lot of hype for this game, however that is just not ok.
I have to give BSU's offensive and defensive coordinators props for studying VT and having BSU prepared. VT's offensive and defensive coordinators were prepared as well, for VT I think they were just a little hyped, were out of their comfort zone not being on their field, and being their first game of the season who knows how many seniors they'd lost, and that always shakes up a team. The first quarter was rough and then VT settled down, and played great! I really didn't think that BSU would be able to pull it out and to be honest was surprised they did.
